The Regional Vice President of Hospitality Operations oversees the operational excellence of all Capital Vacations-managed resorts within a specific region. This role involves guiding the resort General Manager and Regional Director of Hospitality Operations to deliver exceptional service to Associations, their Boards of Directors, and members. The VP ensures that Capital Vacations' standards are consistently upheld, fostering a safe, clean, and efficient environment that benefits both owners and team members alike.
What You'll Do
As the Regional Vice President of Hospitality Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our resorts and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building Leaders: Recruit, train, and develop our managers to be the best in the industry. You'll provide coaching and support while setting clear objectives and fostering a climate of open communication.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Director of Hospitality Operations to oversee personnel issues, ensuring our teams are equipped to deliver outstanding service.
  • Compliance Champion: Ensure all licenses and state regulations are met, keeping our operations compliant and our guests safe.
  • Strategic Negotiator: Lead management contract negotiations with confidence and expertise, driving success for our resorts.
  • Inspection & Oversight: Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest standards across all properties and oversee budgets to ensure financial health.
  • Team Spirit Advocate: Promote teamwork and loyalty among resort personnel, owners, and boards, creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Visionary Leadership: Set a tone of accountability and respect, ensuring our values shine through in everything we do.
Who You Are
We're looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and a strategic mindset. Here's what you'll need to succeed:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of senior-level management experience in hospitality or timeshare management, with a track record of managing multiple properties.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of property management operations and financial statements, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on building relationships with team members, owners, and Boards.
  • Shift: Ability to work 50-60 hours per week with additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines. 50% of travel required. A willingness to travel throughout the region and maintain a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role is a MUST.
