District Sales Manager - Remote

Location - 80% Local travel required

The Job:
As a District Sales Manager, you'll be part of our Mac Tools team working as a virtual employee. You'll get to:

  • Achieve annual operating plan by working with distributors to increase route averages and recruiting new distributors into the territory
  • Conduct FEMs (Field Excellence Meetings) every 60 days (6x a year). This involves lifting more than 10 pounds of product of totes to showcase to customers
  • Conduct effective work-withs (truck ride a-longs) 3-4 days per week to provide coaching and support to distributors in the territory
    • This will also include 2 weeks of training in the beginning and potentially 2 weeks at a time when assisting with a new start
  • Attract and retain distributors into the Mac Tools business
  • Conduct new franchisee training (2-week ride-along for new Distributors). Setup new start truck, pushing and pulling involved (Product and toolboxes). Revisits as needed to develop/coach as directed by Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst
  • Conducts Field Excellence Meetings monthly with entire district
  • Participate at Student Tech shows
  • Manage regional credits and adjustments
  • Perform route surveys for all new starts as well as surveys at the request of the Regional Manager


The Person:

  • BA in business or related field
  • Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry and Knowledge of the local automotive repair market
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent into an organization
  • Prior experience as a small business owner or in coaching and mentoring small business owners
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of route/field sales experience and Must have a minimum of 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals
  • Must be able to lift more than 10 pounds. This includes bending, twisting and pushing

The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 - $135,200.00

Total target cash compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission. Therefore, the total target cash compensation range is inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation.
