Key Responsibilities
  • Manage strategic project contacts of Global Key Accounts (relationship management).
  • Creating / revising technical project specifications and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Technical project clarification with the customer, with all departments involved at Rittal. and with international Rittal subsidiaries.
  • Weekly calls with the project managers at Global Key Accounts.
  • Internationalization / localization of projects (product relocation).
  • Evaluation of cost-down possibilities.
  • Further development of product-related features.
  • Transfer of project-related customer solutions into possible series solutions. together with Solutions Sales and PM.
  • Regular contact with QM / R&D / PM / Solution Sales to be informed about new products and to be able to incorporate a possible benefit in current projects.
  • Regular contact with the customer's technical department to be informed about new projects at an early stage and to provide the necessary support directly.
Internal Interfaces & Collaboration

This role works closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to support customer projects, account management activities, and business objectives, including:

  • Sales Operations: Coordinate offer and order processing activities to support timely and accurate customer fulfillment.
  • Pricing & Conditions: Support pricing discussions and negotiations by gathering data, preparing analyses, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Management & Engineering: Collaborate on customer projects, technical requirements, timelines, and project execution activities.
  • Contracting & Legal: Assist with contract review processes and support contract negotiations to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Controlling: Support the development of reporting tools, account performance metrics, monthly business reviews, key performance indicators, and ad hoc reporting for strategic accounts.
  • Solution Sales & Technical Sales Support: Maintain regular communication regarding market and vertical development, solution offerings, customer opportunities, and technical clarifications.
  • Global and Regional Account Representatives/Nominees: Gather information, coordinate activities, and provide support to regional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of global customer initiatives.
QualificationsEducation
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, sales support, account management, project coordination, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience supporting strategic or key accounts preferred.
