.JOB SUMMARYThe Area Coach has the overall responsibility for overseeing the operations of multiple restaurants, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, retention, and training of team members, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESRun Great Restaurants:Coach highest standards of product qualityTeach and coach RGMs to run great restaurantsRole model strong operational and customer-focused leadership during peak revenue periodsCoach to ensure all restaurants are clean and safeCoach to ensure schedules are written that balance the needs of the RGM, customers, and shareholdersIdentify and eliminate barriers to customer service; ensure all customer issues are resolvedBe responsible for restaurant resultsBuild Great TeamsRecruit and select qualified team members using PHLLC tools/systemsCoach and develop the management teams of each restaurant on key operations and customer serviceProactively ensure a competent management team and pipeline/bench is in place in each restaurantCoach, support, and improve the performance of each RGMReward, recognize, and motivate team members. Provide feedback and support team members.Provide strong 2-way communicationTeach Shift Management and Building Restaurant Excellence (BRE) courses.
