Description

We are looking for a year-round, Full-Time Fitness Supervisor for the following shifts: 5:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday Through Friday and must be available to work outside these scheduled hours as needed.

Competitive Compensation Package includes:

Job Summary:

The Fitness supervisor is responsible for service to members and guests in the Fitness Center and lower-level pool area while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe. They greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner while checking them in, cleaning and organizing all areas in and around the Fitness Center and pool area and ensure safe workouts for members. The Fitness Attendant communicates in a clear and professional manner information that assists the members and guests working out.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

At least 1 year of customer service or fitness/gym experience is preferred.

Available to work weekday mornings, and weekend shifts as needed.

Understand fitness, working out, and light machine maintenance.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations:

Conducts themselves in a commendable, responsible, and professional manner at all times and encourages other team members to do the same to reflect the intended image of the Club throughout the Community.

Demonstrate effective interpersonal relations skills, strong and proactive communications, and efficient delivery and gathering of information through numerous mediums such as orally, in writing, and electronically to other team members.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Greet and log all members and guests

  • Clean and stock restrooms, fitness area, and pool area
  • Maintain the fitness and pool areas (e.g., spraying and blowing off the pool deck, vacuuming the lobby and fitness room)
  • Communicate with the Director of Recreation regarding maintenance and supply needs
  • Ensure members follow all posted safety precautions
  • Answer member questions
  • Answer the fitness center phone
  • Maintain accurate member check-in logs and attendance records
  • Update and maintain member database entries
  • Track and log incidents, maintenance requests, and supply inventory
  • Generate basic reports on facility usage, attendance trends, or incident history as requested
  • Assist with scheduling and updating the calendar
  • Post and update pool schedules
  • Help manage class sign-ups, waitlists, or capacity limits
  • Coordinate with staff on event setup and equipment needs
  • Update signage or digital displays with current schedules and announcements
  • Maintain fitness/pool attendant schedule and help schedule staff

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
