An exciting opportunity for a full-time, On-site, Area Sales Manager in Delray Beach, Florida!

Overview: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing group business opportunities within their assigned territory for a portfolio of hotels and resorts. This role focuses on proactively sourcing new business, presenting tailored proposals, and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings that drives revenue across the region, all in an effort to meet or exceed each property’s annual Group Budget. In addition, the associate is expected to strategically cross-sell sister properties within the OPAL Collection when appropriate to maximize overall portfolio performance. This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Sales and is part of a cohesive hospitality team including sales, events, revenue, and operations. 

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on prospecting, possesses strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrates a passion for hospitality and delivers exceptional client experiences.

Territory/Deployment: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and booking business within a specific geographical territory, or within a specific market segment, or within a specific vertical market.

Job Requirements: This is an on-site position based at the Regional Sales office. Occasional travel to and from the assigned territory is expected as a part of this role. The associate is responsible for submitting timely and accurate expense reports and will be reimbursed for approved business-related travel expenses.

The Sales office operates Monday through Friday. This position requires a minimum commitment of 48 hours per week. The Area Sales Manager is expected to maintain a structured and proactive schedule.

This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, as well as experience with key sales and hospitality systems and CRMs, which may include Salesforce/Delphi, SCS, HMS. FOSSE, OPERA, Duetto/Blockbuster, Sertifi, and Cvent. The associate must be comfortable with navigating multiple platforms used in the day-to-day operations, and demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies as needed.

Area Sales Manager must possess a minimum of Five (5) years of experience in hotel sales, with a demonstrated track record of successfully representing and selling multiple properties within a portfolio environment.

The Associate will receive a 90-day performance review, followed by an Annual performance Review on or before their anniversary date. Performance accountability will include, but is not limited to:
