Job description

Our Cashiers create a positive, memorable experience for each of our guests by providing friendly, thoughtful, and responsive service both in person and by phone. The ability to provide consistently great customer service while multi-tasking extremely well is a must.  A positive attitude makes all the difference for our guests.

Masks are provided to all team members and for cashiers, there is a barrier for the protection of staff.

We are hiring for part time and full time. This is a tipped position.

  • Base hourly rate is $10; total compensation with tips averages $16-18 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Friendly, positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitask well; must be able to flow easily between customer orders, phone calls, etc. 
  • Evenings (to 10-11pm) and weekends are REQUIRED
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus
  • One year of previous cashier, server, or restaurant experience is required.

A strong candidate is someone who is friendly and communicates well with customers, team members, and managers.  A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a team player. Previous experience is an advantage; ability to multitask well is a must!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all customers
  • Answer questions and take guest and catering orders in person and by phone; upsell as appropriate
  • Accept and process payments
  • Check all outgoing orders for accuracy and presentation and bag food for customer pickup
  • Ensure the entire process runs smoothly and that every customer has a positive and memorable experience
  • Execute required side work (restocking supplies, filling juice bottles, light cleaning duties)
