About the Role:
We're looking for a full-time dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic city maintenance team. In this vital role, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring our city's infrastructure, from parks to streets and everything in between, is in top shape. This position reports to the Infrastructure Maintenance Manager and offers a chance to make a tangible difference in the community.
What You'll Do:
  • Be the hero our city needs! Tackle a variety of maintenance tasks including fixing pavements, maintaining signs, and ensuring our green spaces look great.
  • Get hands-on with everything from cleaning culverts to setting up for city events.
  • Show off your skills with a range of tools and equipment - think chainsaws, excavators, and more!
  • Flex your craftsmanship with basic carpentry, cement work, and painting.
  • Champion our green spaces through landscaping, planting, and weed control.
  • Be the first responder to maintenance emergencies, ready to take action when the city needs you.
