DuPont is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance HVAC-R Technicianat our Newark-Pencader, DE site!

If you are a hands-on tech who takes pride in safe, high-quality work keeping critical systems running and have a Delaware Master HVAC/R License we'd like to talk.

What You'll Do

Keep HVAC-R and utility systems running safely and reliably across an industrial site. You'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and complete PMs on commercial/industrial equipment.

Core work:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC-R equipment and site utilities.

  • Maintain and repair equipment: RTUs, chillers, pumps, motors, solenoids, relief devices, pressure vessels, hoses, and piping.

  • Pipefitting as needed: layout/measure, identify pipe/tube & schedule, thread, flange, and run tubing.

  • Diagnose using prints/P&IDs, manuals, and online resources; support rotating equipment and automation when needed.

  • Complete required safety/regulatory training and follow site procedures (LOTO/PPE, etc.).

  • Log work in the CMMS (labor time, notes, closeout details).

  • Complete required check sheets per work orders/job plans.

  • Use RCFA to reduce repeat failures (you'll get guidance as needed).

  • Work with the supervisor to prioritize emergencies and pull ahead scheduled work when time allows.

  • Join an on-call rotation for off-hours emergencies.

  • Work safely, treat people with respect, and protect the environment.

What You Need

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 3+ years maintaining commercial/industrial HVAC equipment

  • Manufacturing/industrial site experience

  • Delaware Master HVAC-R License (required)
