Job description

We’re looking for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Jessup, MD! In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain and repair our ammonia-based refrigeration systems that are essential to our production, processing, and storage operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Perform safety checks and system inspections
  • Troubleshoot and fix system problems
  • Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards
  • Work closely with other technicians
  • Keep detailed records of work done
  • Help install new systems and run performance tests
  • Respond to emergency repair calls

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–3 years of experience with ammonia or similar refrigeration systems
  • Certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or related field
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Able to use control and monitoring software
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical certification or similar experience with high/low voltage
  • Bonus: PLC knowledge
  • Must read and understand English instructions
  • Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in different conditions
  • Must be available to work production days, including Sundays

Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:30am to finish

Pay Rate: $30/hr
