Job description

Overview

An Installer at ASP is responsible for installing new residential heating and cooling equipment into residential homes. Candidates who will thrive in this role consistently exceed customer's expectations, develop apprentices, and ensure a world-class customer experience through craftsmanship, industry knowledge, and teamwork. They are also great at surpassing goals and are energized by growing with their team.

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

  • A $2,500 sign-on bonus will be paid as a lump sum after 90 days of continuous employment.
  • Eligibility requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Journeyman Electrician (HVAC Installer) or in a related electrical/HVAC field.

Schedule

  • 7am-4pm, end times vary based on completion of work and business needs
  • 35-45 hours per week are typical for this role
  • Overtime may be offered and at times can be required

Essential Job Duties

  • Complete residential HVAC installations in a timely manner while maintaining meticulous craftsmanship
  • Execute a consistent customer walkthrough on calls in accordance with company process
  • Onboard new apprentices and help them develop to become lead installers
  • Handle customer concerns when on jobsites, and escalate to install manager when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Minnesota Electrical Journeyman's License
  • Certified in Warm Air, Gas, Refrigeration, and Hot Water & Steam
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50+ pounds
  • Must be highly detailed and demonstrate the ability to follow through on residential work
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
  • On time and prepared to work before the scheduled start time
