About Patriot Security

Patriot Security provides contract security services across the Baton Rouge metro and the Mississippi River industrial corridor. We protect [industrial facilities, healthcare campuses, construction sites, commercial property].

The Opportunity

Patriot Security is hiring an outside sales representative to grow our commercial and industrial book of business. This is a hunting role. You will own the Baton Rouge territory, build your own pipeline, and close recurring contracts.

The Capital Region is one of the strongest security markets in the South. The petrochemical corridor from Baton Rouge down through Geismar and Plaquemine operates under federal facility security requirements, which means mandated, long-term contracts that do not get cut when budgets tighten. Turnaround season brings thousands of contractors on site needing gate control and badging. There is real, repeatable revenue here for someone who works the territory.

What You Will Do

•  Prospect and close new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts across the Baton Rouge metro

• Conduct on-site security assessments and build staffing proposals with realistic post coverage and pricing

•Develop relationships with facility managers, plant security coordinators, general contractors, and property managers

•Partner with operations to make sure what you sell is what gets delivered

•Manage renewals and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts

•Represent Patriot Security at industry associations, contractor events, and local business organizations

•  Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in [CRM name]

What You Bring

•      Two or more years of outside B2B sales experience with a documented record of hitting quota

•      Comfort selling a service rather than a product, and patience for a 30 to 90 day sales cycle

•      Ability to prospect independently, as this role is not built on inbound leads

•      Strong written proposal skills and professional presence with facility and plant management

•      Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

 High school diploma or equivalent

What Sets You Apart

•      Experience in security, staffing, industrial services, safety, or facility services

•      Existing relationships in the Baton Rouge industrial or commercial market

•      Familiarity with contractor procurement, master service agreements, or bid processes

•      Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Compensation

•      Base salary of $50,000

•      Commission on new contracts
