About the Position

Assist the Operations Manager to ensureย smoothย daily operationsย ofย two business unitsย -ย the main kitchen and commissary.ย ย The Operations Supervisor will work to foster aย supportive andย positiveย relationship between units and departments.ย ย Maintain DO & CO standardsย toย exceed clientsโ€™ expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations activities such as but not limited to packing, transportation,ย logistics, foodย production and dispatch.ย 
  • Supervise processing time to avoid delays and missing items.
  • Ensure information including any updatesย isย communicatedย accurately andย timelyย toย each department.
  • Motivate, train, schedule,ย andย assistย all dishwashing, packing,ย andย assembly teams.ย Ensure compliance with allย airlines, airports,ย ports and all other applicable rules/regulations.
  • Manage and increase efficiencyย ofย packing andย rotatingย equipment.
  • Ensure punctualityย and accuracy of assigned flights including handoff toย aircraft crew.
  • Manage and disseminateย all incoming operational information toย affected departments; working with urgency and according to internal company rules.
  • Perform monthly inventory andย assistย with necessary changesย in specifications.

  • Have a great understanding and working knowledge of the whole unit and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach.
  • All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR ยง1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issuedย identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent),ย in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
