Job description

Position Overview

Refined Reflections Mental and Wellness Center, located in the scenic city of Gresham, Oregon, is seeking dedicated and licensed mental health professionals to become valued members of our expanding counseling network. As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, providing essential support and guidance to foster mental well-being and personal growth.

About the Organization

At Refined Reflections Mental and Wellness Center, we are committed to delivering high-quality mental health services with integrity, accessibility, and compassion. Our team is comprised of diverse and experienced professionals who bring varied perspectives to patient care. We believe in supporting our therapists by equipping them with state-of-the-art resources and a supportive work environment, enabling them to focus on what they do bestโ€”helping others.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office provides an engaging and collaborative virtual setting where you can thrive as a mental health counselor. We prioritize technology to ensure effective communication and support between our teams and our clients, including access to a user-friendly counselor portal that streamlines your workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct confidential and empathetic mental health counseling sessions with clients via secure video communications.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including solution-focused therapy, to help clients identify goals and improve their emotional well-being.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans for each individual client, ensuring that their unique mental health needs are met with precision.
  • Facilitate sessions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and interpersonal dynamics, fostering deeper self-awareness and coping strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress toward their goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients who seek to enhance their quality of life through improved mental health. Our focus is on helping individuals develop the necessary skills to manage life's challenges, ensuring they feel empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Possession of a current, state-issued mental health counseling license allowing independent practice (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD).
  • No limited or provisional licenses; candidates must have a clean disciplinary record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with an empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and online counseling tools.
  • A reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions, along with a dependable internet connection.
Preferred Experience

While all licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, we prefer individuals who have previous experience in a telehealth setting or have familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities. Engagement with varied client demographics can greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a generous sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. Other benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours that allow you to create a schedule that suits your lifestyle.
  • Minimal administrative workload, as our team handles all paperwork, allowing you to focus on therapy.
  • Unlimited client referrals, helping you build a solid caseload without the stress of marketing yourself.
  • Comprehensive training and continuous professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
Career Growth Opportunities

Refined Reflections is committed to fostering a culture of growth. We provide pathways for professional development through training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs that empower our counselors to advance their careers. Opportunities for specialization and leadership roles are readily available as our network continues to grow.

Why Join Our Team

Become part of a supportive network that values your expertise and encourages collaboration among mental health professionals. At Refined Reflections, you will have the tools you need to succeed and the ability to make a significant impact in the lives of others while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
