A Refinery Contractor is a skilled professional or company hired to perform construction, maintenance, and repair work at oil refineries. They may specialize in welding, piping, structural fabrication, electrical work, or other industrial services. As a Refinery Contractor, your daily responsibilities may include overseeing maintenance, repairs, and installations within refinery units, coordinating with project managers and other contractors, and ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental regulations. You might also review project blueprints, manage schedules, supervise teams, and communicate with refinery staff about project updates or technical needs.
