Job description

Laboratory Technician

Under the direction of section supervisor performs day-to-day tasks in accessioning and phlebotomy areas including receipt, handling, accessioning and centrifuging specimens, sending specimens to reference laboratory, data entry and other support laboratory functions. Required to work weekends and holidays based on the department's needs.

A high school diploma with at least 6 months clinical laboratory data entry experience. Must have some technical familiarity related to laboratory. Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory required.
