TV/Film Overnight Unarmed Security Officer – Los Angeles Area, CA

About the Position

Reel Security officers are primarily responsible for protecting valuable equipment and production property in temporary outdoor locations in Southern California. This specific requisition is for our Night Production team, focusing on overnight vigilance and asset protection when sets are closed or inactive.


Some of the duties of our security officers

  • Monitor and protect client property at temporary sites from intrusion and theft during overnight hours.
  • Record and log incoming drop-offs and pickups of client equipment at temporary sites.
  • Conduct regular patrols of dark or low-visibility client areas to detect potential unsecured property or breaches.
  • Obtain information on incidents that occur on post and write detailed incident reports.
  • Assists client location management and enforcement officers in possible emergencies.
  • Monitor temporary ‘no parking’ postings to inform the public of the signage to ensure the parking area remains clear for morning call times.
  • Maintain a high level of alertness during overnight hours to prevent trespassing and vandalism.
  • Officers may be required to lift up to 25 pounds with the direction of a supervisor.
  • Posts are varying based on production needs, must be flexible.
