Job Summary & Objective

RedTown Technical Services, LLC. is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Corpus Christi, TX team.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS


Qualifications/Education Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of work history as an Electrician with large project experience

- Solid understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods

- Able to read blueprints, legend symbols, branch circuits and one-line diagrams

- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade

- Cad welding (helpful)

- Network Cabling (helpful)

- Team player

- Safety conscious

- TDLR License Required

- OSHA 10/30 preferred


Essential Functions

- Setup, layout and install Main Distribution Panels and Transformers

- Pull various sizes of conductors/cable into conduit/cable tray per drawings

- Build and install EMT and rigid conduit systems (use threader & bender)

- Terminate conductors/cables

- Grounding and Bonding

- 120v single phase, 240v split phase and 208v and 480v 3 phase terminations

- Ethernet cable terminations

- Troubleshooting and commissioning

- Material estimating and takeoffs

- Implementation of Lockout/Tagout methods and procedures

- Documenting As-built conditions


Additional Eligibility/Qualifications

- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Must pass military background check

- Must have basic electrician’s tools


Work Environment

- Working mainly in a climate-controlled environment, some outdoor exposure can be expected while relocating/transporting equipment.
