Job description

Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Division: Redhawk Administrative Services
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (Required)
**Position is contingent upon award of contract
Position Summary
Redhawk Administrative Services is seeking a PMP-certified, Sr. Project Manager to lead an interdisciplinary team of 50+ staff in support of our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customer. They play a critical role in providing professional financial services to the US Coast Guard (USCG), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD). Requirements include accounting services, audit/internal controls, and property management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee project execution and resource allocation across a team of 50+ full-time equivalents.
• Serve as the primary interface to the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative, and Requirements Owner.
• Proactively manages delivery, scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk management, and stakeholder satisfaction
• Ensure effective communication between contractor staff and Government stakeholders.
• Reviews all deliverables for quality assurance and provides executive-level coaching to Task Leads when needed.
• Applies subject matter expertise in Financial Management, including accounting, internal controls, and property management, to support continuous improvement and quality outcomes.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business/Data Analytics, Real Estate, Property Management)
• PMP Certification (Required)
• CGFM/CPA/CDFM/CPFO certification(s) (Preferred)
Experience:
• 5+ years' project management experience, specifically leading interdisciplinary teams of 30+ FTE
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Jira) and methodologies
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with the USCG Financial System Modernization Solution (FSMS) (Preferred)
