Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including:
- Chip purchases and redemptions
- Check cashing
- Marker issuance and redemption
- Front money and safekeeping issuance/redemption
- Coupon redemption
- Cash back redemption
- Credit card cash advances
- Handle monetary transactions with all interdepartmental personnel.
- Issue and accept bank returns for all casino departments.
- Exchange currency and coin for all departments.
- Cash out cocktail and valet employee tips.
- Sell and redeem gaming chips for guests.
- Redeem coupons for gaming guests.
- Issue and redeem cage and pit markers for credit patrons.
- Process personal checks for gaming guests.
- Process cash advance checks and cash back vouchers.
- Process slot jackpot payouts and taxable jackpot documentation.
- Process table game chip fills and credits.
- Ensure compliance with Michigan Gaming Regulations.
- Securely document and maintain records of all reportable transactions involving company assets.
- Balance departmental paperwork and reconcile transactions.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with state, federal, company, and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Ability to efficiently operate adding machines, Jet Sort equipment, and computer systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive patron information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
