Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions including:
    • Chip purchases and redemptions
    • Check cashing
    • Marker issuance and redemption
    • Front money and safekeeping issuance/redemption
    • Coupon redemption
    • Cash back redemption
    • Credit card cash advances
  • Handle monetary transactions with all interdepartmental personnel.
  • Issue and accept bank returns for all casino departments.
  • Exchange currency and coin for all departments.
  • Cash out cocktail and valet employee tips.
  • Sell and redeem gaming chips for guests.
  • Redeem coupons for gaming guests.
  • Issue and redeem cage and pit markers for credit patrons.
  • Process personal checks for gaming guests.
  • Process cash advance checks and cash back vouchers.
  • Process slot jackpot payouts and taxable jackpot documentation.
  • Process table game chip fills and credits.
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan Gaming Regulations.
  • Securely document and maintain records of all reportable transactions involving company assets.
  • Balance departmental paperwork and reconcile transactions.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with state, federal, company, and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to efficiently operate adding machines, Jet Sort equipment, and computer systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patron information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
