Job description

This position will be a project lead for study. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Develop new ideas, research methodologies, and analytic approaches to the lab's research programs.
  • Conduct experiments and analyses using anatomical MRI data and speech and language recordings of infants and toddlers with cleft palate.
  • Help write grants and compete for funding.
  • Supervise and train students and research staff working in the lab.
  • Help write and contribute to publications resulting from research done in the lab.
  • Assist project management of NIH grants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Interest in research on craniofacial differences.
  • Strong oral and written communication and statistical analytic skills.
  • Ability to lead a team of student researchers.
  • Expertise with research software including ThermoFisher Amira, Prolific, PsychoPy, and REDCap.
