Job description

At Digestive Health Center at Redbird Square, we are more than just your healthcare provider. Some of us are hikers, runners, charity volunteers, foodies and wannabe chefs. We are currently searching for a Full Time Charge Nurse to work weekdays from 7am-3:30pm in a team-oriented environment at our Ambulatory Surgical Center. Primary responsibilities include: Pre-procedure care, Recovery room care, and actively participating in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Works collaboratively with center leadership on the supervision and direction of nursing care and patient scheduling, according to center policies, procedures and objectives.

Candidate must:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse
  • Maintain basic life support certification and ACLS
  • Have at least four years of nursing experience and at least one year of nursing leadership experience

Previous experience in GI, Surgical, or Emergency care setting preferred, but not required.
