Job SummaryThe Tuxedo Club seeks experienced, enthusiastic and customer service-driven Lifeguards to join our team for the season! Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of all members and guests in the pool areaEnsure all NYS Health & Safety Standards and Codes are followed by maintaining proper balances of pool chemicals and cleanliness of all aquatic operationsComplete daily operations forms for opening/closing of each shiftAssist Pool Director with all documentation for NYS and The Tuxedo Club and all ad-hoc projectsThis job description in no way states or implies that this position is limited to the aforementioned duties. You may be required to perform other job-related duties assigned by your Supervisor, or Director.QualificationsCurrent American Red Cross Lifeguard CertificationCurrent American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AEDMust be able to enforce rules and regulations in a professional mannerCurrent WSY certification preferred1 year Lifeguard experience preferredTeam player that is energetic, professional, and has a positive attitudeMust be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, weekends & holidaysCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive Hourly RateEligible for Employee Holiday BonusWorking ConditionsIt is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
