About the Role
As a Shift Leader, you will lead store operations when the Assistant Manager or General Manager is not present. We'll expect you to lead by example with a positive attitude and good old-fashioned hard work, focusing on product quality, strong team leadership, and supreme customer service. We're looking for someone with a natural ability to connect with people, who enthusiastically guides their team to deliver a moment of joy to each and every customer.
This is a year-round position, and we're looking for someone ready to grow with us beyond the summer rush. Previous leadership experience preferrd.
Estimated hourly wage with tips is, $16-$19.00
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting your team during each shift
  • Modeling and communicating our culture: setting a positive tone, giving in-the-moment feedback, and keeping the team informed and engaged
  • Ordering product and maintaining accurate inventory
  • Enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean, organized work area
  • Maintaining an effective and positive environment while staying current on changes, new menu items, and procedures
  • Delivering supreme customer service and resolving customer concerns with care

Requirements:
  • 1 year of management or leadership experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Year-round availability required - this is not a seasonal position
  • Must have opening AND closing availability, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching, and turning during all shifts
  • Ability to reach and grasp with hands; talk and hear from far away and in close proximity; taste and smell
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more
