Job description

Role Overview:
Seeking a Linux Subject Matter Expert (SME) with robust L3-level expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The role requires strong knowledge of clustering, automation using Ansible, and working familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position demands strong collaboration skills to support mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in mission-critical environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, storage, network, and application-level issues.
  • Manage and support Red Hat Cluster environments ensuring high availability and business continuity.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
  • Automate system administration and configuration management tasks using Ansible.
  • Implement system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices.
  • Work on system performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with application, network, storage, and security teams.
  • Support cloud-based Linux workloads in AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM - good to have).
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Required Skills:
