A Red Group is a team or organization that specializes in conducting Red Team exercises, which are simulated cyberattacks or security assessments designed to test the effectiveness of an organization’s defenses. Red Groups often act as adversaries, using tactics, techniques, and procedures similar to real-world attackers to identify vulnerabilities in systems, processes, or personnel. Their primary goal is to help organizations improve their security posture by revealing weaknesses before malicious actors can exploit them.

To thrive in the Red Group cybersecurity field (commonly known as Red Team), you need a deep understanding of penetration testing, network security, and vulnerability assessment, often backed by certifications like OSCP or CEH.
