Job description

Lifelong enrichment through group outdoor adventures. Our 90 minute adventure hikes combine training, exercise, and pack dynamics in the real world. Being part of a pack of dogs reinforces socialization and behavioral expectations. The hike offers all-senses stimulus and physical exercise. All the while bolstering come, leave-it, sit, and other necessary behaviors for a good canine. The results of the hikes are deep and long-lasting, with dogs mentally and physically enriched in the day to day, while chill and well behaved equally at home or at the coffee shop.

Our adventure trainers pick up and drop off, and are with our dogs from start to finish. We go to off-leash hiking areas (Turkey Creek; Onion Creek; Red Bud when the water doesn't have blue algea; etc) and do 90 minute off leash hikes. Trainers send updates on the pick up and drop off times, pictures, and videos. We pay $30 per dog. You can currently expect about 10 dogs a week, with growth opportunities, both in picking up more dogs, but also with boarding and becoming a 1:1 dog trainer.

We are specifically hiring for our Low Impact Adventures: Essentially the same as Weekly Outdoor Adventures and Training but with the promise of a more “chill” environment defined as less miles covered, reduced climbing and related exertion, less energetic activities overall and less chaos. Same level of fulfillment and reinforcement, but limited to about a mile and half of total hiking distance. For our elderly, injured, or just otherwise low-key dogs.
