Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Sioux City, IA

Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Position Type: Travel

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay: $2277 - $2744 | Shift: 3x12 Nights


Are you a dedicated Labor and Delivery nurse looking for your next thrilling opportunity? Do you excel in high-pressure environments and have a passion for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns? Join our healthcare partner in Sioux City, IA, where your expertise will be valued and your skills put to the test.


As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, you will bring your professional and clinical knowledge to manage and deliver care to patients in a dynamic Labor and Delivery setting. Your role will include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns
  • Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Floating to Post-Partum units as needed, up to 1-2 shifts a week
  • Utilizing EPIC EMR system for documentation

Requirements:

  • Need 2 years experience in setting
  • Active Iowa RN license
  • AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) for fetal monitoring
  • Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • High-risk and high-acuity experience in a high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month)
  • Comfortable floating to Post-Partum
