Position Summary
With support of the manager, oversees daily operations in E-Recycling Department, including sales, production, and customer service. Works side by side with IT Technicians, Material Handlers, and Customer Service Associates to execute procedures and improve department efficiencies. Works with e-Commerce teams to identify items for on-line sales.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Accountable for all E-Recycling/Computer Store facility operations in the absence of other management team members.
2. Open/close store and prepare facility for business day in the absence of Manager and Assistant Manager.
3. Assists with training and supervision of all E-Recycling associates.
4. Strictly adheres to all Computer Store schedules, opening and closing times.
5. Assists with preparation and submittal of payroll to finance.
6. Assists with scheduling staff.
7. Must adhere to and enforce all company policies.
8. Must keep supervisor informed of all pertinent information concerning the efficient operation of the E-Recycling Department.
9. Works with e-Commerce Team to identify online sales opportunities.
10. May train and oversee E-Recycling associates performing e-Commerce listings of books, media, Hardlines, or Softlines.
11. May assist in managing e-Commerce Associates as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check.
• Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
