THIS POSITION IS ASSIGNED TO THE OSCAR JOHNSON JR ENRICHMENT & RECREATION CENTER - KIDZONEJOB SUMMARYWith supervision, delivers programs and events directly to the public; open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take-down for programs and events; perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed; follow all City and Center policies and procedures; responsible for the care and safety of participants.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic cash handling.Experience in working with children.Excellent communication skills and customer service.Experience with public programs/events preferred.Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the time period designated by supervisor.Ability to multitask.Education and Experience:Minimum age of 18 years old.High school diploma or equivalent.Special Requirements:Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy.Possession of a valid Texas class "C" driver's license or higher.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe work is medium and requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
