Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Assist with daily living activities
  • Provide compassionate companionship and support for a client with early-stage dementia 
  • Assist with transportation to physical therapy appointments, senior centers, community events, and recreational activities 
  • Encourage participation in social, physical, and community-based activities to promote engagement and well-being 
  • Help maintain the client’s daily routine and encourage an active lifestyle 
  • Ensure the client’s safety and comfort during outings and appointments 
  • Offer gentle reminders and guidance as needed throughout the day 
  • Communicate professionally with family members and care coordinators regarding the client’s activities and well-being 
  • Support a positive, respectful, and uplifting environment that promotes independence and dignity 
  • Accompany the client on errands or light community outings when appropriate 
  • Monitor for changes in behavior, mood, or mobility and report concerns promptly
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • First aid and CPR-certified
