Position: Shift Supervisor
Job Type: POOL / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: As Needed 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am
Work Location: Crisis - Ellendale RRC, 700 Main Street, Ellendale DE 19941
Salary/Hourly Wage: $34.00 - $37.00/hour
Specialties / Licenses or Certifications:
-Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
-Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
-State designation as required per state regulations.
Summary of Job: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Provides leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned staff.
    • Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
  2. Guest Care amp; Advocacy:
    • Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
    • Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual’s support team such as family members, friends, case managers and other area programs.
  3. Compliance amp; Risk Management:
    • Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
    • Completes clinical documentation as required.
    • Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy.
    • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
    • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  4. Additional Duties:
    • Performs other related duties assigned.

Job Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
    • State designation as required per state regulations.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
  3. Skills:
    • Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
    • Basic computer skills.

    • Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements
  4. Driving Requirements:
    • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy.

  5. Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
  • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
    • Travel required based on business need.
    • Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
