Job description

Salary: $22.00-$26.00

Recovery Zone provides is a high-end luxury rehabilitation center for those struggling with addiction. We are currently hiring an experienced and dedicated SUD Counselor/Case Manager to join our team!

The SUD Counselor/Case Manageris responsible for assisting clients in the process of developing a personal program throughout recovery with the overall clinical program. Delivering case management, individualized treatment, assessments, and implementation of personalized treatment plan, as well as development and execution of discharge plans. Day-to-day responsibilities may vary.Must possess AOD/SUD credential or state registration to be considered for the position: CADC, SUDCC.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Group counseling, education, and meetings per program schedule.
  • Coordinate treatment objectives for assigned clients with Clinical Director, Executive Director, and pertinent staff.
  • Conduct initial assessments including substance abuse history, psychiatric history, and psychosocial assessment.
  • Assist the client in the development of realistic and comprehensive discharge plans.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients family/support system throughout duration of clients treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to engage, educate, communicate, and coordinate care with patient, their family, behavioral and general medical and dental health care providers, community resources and others to ensure that all services prescribed in the individualized service plans are implemented.
  • Takes action consistent with available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequences. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and/or reaching conclusions.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Certification: CADC, SUDCC.
  • Associates Degree in Social Work or bachelor's degree in social work preferred.
  • One or more years of experience in addiction counseling in substance abuse treatment.
  • Valid Drivers License.
