Work Environment

As a Senior Physical Therapist at our Sparks facility, you will work onsite in a collaborative and supportive outpatient orthopedic clinic. We believe that a positive work environment fosters exceptional patient care, and our team is built on principles of teamwork, communication, and professional development. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a well-balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities through comprehensive evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and supervise evidence-based therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve movement.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the therapy process, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy protocols and treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journey, and you will have the opportunity to form meaningful relationships as you guide them toward regaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate are encouraged to apply.
• Current and valid Nevada state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient care.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for patient advocacy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience within an orthopedic outpatient environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior staff or interns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

At Keep Moving Forward Physical Therapy, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
