Job description

Investment Recovery Support Assistant Sr. 
Forest Park, GA
Department Summary:
The Investment Recovery department is responsible for the proper disposition of retired vehicles, equipment and other Company-owned assets through redeployment, competitive bids, auctions and direct sales. Investment Recovery professionals seek to identify, reuse, sell, and dispose of surplus assets generated by the Company.
 
Job Duties:
Process vendor settlement statements for Fleet, material/equipment, auction and scrap sales.
Distribute funds from settlement reports to the appropriate account numbers.
Reconcile accounts bi-monthly and ensure billing discrepancies are corrected.
Provide team with out-of-balance account information twice monthly. Make corrections as identified by the IR team members.
Send and track sales payments and ensure they are posted to the appropriate accounts.
Document individual material sales information in Excel spreadsheet located on SCM Investment Recovery shared drive.
Fill out approved sales agreements for successful bidders and coordinate logistics for picking up the material/equipment.
Coordinate on-site employee sales when needed.
Assist Investment Recovery with identifying working conditions of material that will be listed on auction sites.
Monitor Investment Recovery email box and distribute requests to the appropriate team member to handle.
Schedule vehicle pick-ups with vendors after Fleet provides retirement packages to Investment Recovery.
Coordinate pickup of retired fleet vehicles with Investment Recovery team and auction vendors.
Generate monthly revenue sales reports from Investment Recovery database.
Maintain records and file sales agreements and vendor settlement statements monthly.
Assist with scrap metal dumpster swap outs.
Manage compliance and records retention.
Order office supplies when needed.
 
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Values teamwork and contributes to a cooperative work environment.
Experience collecting/posting payments and ensuring funds are accurately applied to accounts.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
