Overview 

In the Audit Director role you will be responsible for leading client engagements and audit delivery teams. You will advise clients on all aspects of audit program planning and management including supplier selection, stakeholder engagement, and audit settlement negotiations. Leveraging you expertise source-to-pay operations and audit methodologies, you will ensure accuracy, comprehensiveness and efficiency in the audit process. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and be responsible for nurturing client relationships, understanding client needs and ensuring that FlexTecs delivers high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations. 

Key Responsibilities 

- Leadership and Team Management 

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to audit team. 
  • Mentor, train, and develop audit staff to enhance their skills and professional growth. 
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. 

- Audit Planning and Execution of Develop comprehensive audit plans based on client objectives and industry best practices. 

  • Oversee the execution of audits, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards. 
  • Conduct detailed assessments of audit findings to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to clients. 

- Client Engagement o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide regular updates on audit progress. 

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify areas of risk and propose innovative solutions where FlexTecs can add tangible value. 
  • Earn clients’ trust and build strong relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery. 

- Reporting and Analysis o Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and assessments of financial impact. 

  • Present audit findings to clients and senior management, articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. 

- Continuous Improvement o Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices is recovery auditing. 

  • Lead initiatives to enhance audit methodologies and processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and optimize FlexTecs’ technology solutions. 


Requirements:

Requirements 

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 

- Proven experience in audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis, with a focus on retail auditing. 

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve results 

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights 

- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and FlexTecs leadership events
