Job Title: Educational Services Records Clerk
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
To maintain and coordinate the verification of special education student records and assessments; to ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Monitor all special education paperwork done by school personnel for compliance with state and federal machines.
  • Monitor and report to school personnel specified dates for annual and three year special education reviews.
  • Completion of all state and federal reporting requirements for special education census data.
  • Trains special education personnel in the use of the District's computerized IEP program.
  • Reviews special education records of new students to the District to assist with placement and MET review process.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
