Job description

Records Clerk

The Records Clerk will collaborate with various departments to track and correct records, be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing engine records, work order packages, and work control documents.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, build, verify, track, correct, and maintain the Engine Repair Center's engine work order packages including complete engine records.
  • Check, correct, and verify airworthiness directives, service bulletins, life limits profile records, and 8130-3 for engines and engine components.
  • Assemble and build work order packages for each work order issued in the Repair Station.
  • Check, verify, track, correct, and maintain parts and materials transactions that are issued to each work order.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure work order packages and records are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Active A&P License preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of aviation records and/or 5-year engine maintenance experience. (CFM56 experience preferred)
  • Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • AvSight is a plus.
  • Visual Acuity and dexterity to use a computer.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to coordinate within the department and across the company effectively to solve problems/issues.
  • Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Travel/Misc.
  • Weekend and/or late evening work when necessary.
  • Able to walk to various parts of our Engine Repair Center.
  • Ability to lift 5-10 pounds.
