Acuity is seeking a Director Product Management to lead the product strategy, roadmap, system design, and execution of end-to-end Record to Report capabilities across the enterprise. This role will own the long-term product direction for R2R and related finance capabilities regardless of underlying technology, while serving as a key leader for the Oracle Fusion Finance implementation. The role will drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, deploying AI, real-time visibility, and a scalable control environment across controllership, accounting-to-reporting, cash operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, and internal audit.

The Director, Record to Report partners closely with Controllership, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, Shared Services, Tech, and business finance leaders to create a unified, agile, and data-driven finance platform. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for optimizing close, consolidation, reporting, compliance, cash, receivables, and payables while ensuring R2R capabilities connect effectively with broader finance planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Enterprise Finance / Record to Report Product Strategy
  • Own the enterprise Record to Report product roadmap, including General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts, Receivable, Cash Management, Tax, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, financial close, consolidation, and statutory and operational reporting processes, with Oracle Fusion as a major implementation focus.
  • Drive long-term architecture decisions and operational execution for finance transformation initiatives.
  • Define enterprise finance standards while supporting unique business‑unit, legal entity, statutory, and management reporting requirements.
Platform Ownership and Oracle Fusion Implementation
  • Lead the product management function for R2R finance platforms and oversee enhancements, integrations, adoption, and implementation execution, with Oracle Fusion serving as the core platform for record‑to‑report, accounting‑to‑reporting, procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash, cash management, tax, controls, and reporting workflows.
  • Ensure consistent master data, process configurations, reporting structures, accounting rules, approvals, and controls across AYI business units and legal entities.
Operational Process Excellence
  • Lead optimization and standardization of:
    • Record‑to‑report and accounting‑to‑reporting workflows
    • Financial close, consolidation, reconciliations, and journal processing
    • Accounts payable, payments, and cash operations
    • Accounts receivable, collections, and customer account processes
    • Tax, statutory reporting, internal audit, controls, and compliance requirements
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Represent finance solutions across corporate, shared services, business‑unit, and functional stakeholders
  • Translate business, accounting, reporting, tax, audit, and finance stakeholder needs into system and process requirements for technical development teams.
Data & Analytics
  • Partner with Engineering and finance stakeholders to prioritize dashboards, KPIs, data needs, and integration patterns across R2R finance platforms, Oracle Fusion, EPM, and the enterprise data lake.
  • Enable real‑time visibility into close status, financial performance, cash position, receivables, payables, tax, controls, and operational decision-making.
Delivery Leadership
  • Define epics, user stories, sprint priorities, and roadmap milestones for finance‑focused delivery teams.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance Product Managers and Business Analysts.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and long‑term career development.

  • Experience defining system requirements, configurations, testing, controls, security, integrations, and deployment.
  • Strategic & Operational Mindset:
    • Able to architect long‑term finance systems while solving real‑time operational problems across controllership, shared services, treasury, tax, audit, and business finance teams.

Location & Travel Requirements
