Edmond Hyundai and Genesis of Edmond are two of the fastest-growing automotive dealerships in the Oklahoma City metro area. We take pride in delivering high-quality pre-owned vehicles to our customers. We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our expanding reconditioning team.


Position Overview

As a Used Car Reconditioning Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale. You will play a critical role in ensuring our inventory meets the high performance, safety, and cosmetic standards of Edmond Hyundai and Genesis of Edmond.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough multi-point inspections on incoming used vehicles

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues (brakes, suspension, engine performance, etc.)

  • Complete maintenance services (oil changes, tires, fluids, filters, alignments, etc.)

  • Communicate with service advisors and reconditioning managers on repair needs and time estimates

  • Document all work performed accurately and efficiently

  • Ensure all vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer reconditioning guidelines

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment


Qualifications
  • 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred

  • ASE certifications a plus (not required)

  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
