This position requires an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. While this level of availability is essential for the role, we understand it may not be suitable for every candidate. What you will do

As a Trauma SalesAssociate,you work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to sell Stryker Trauma products that meet our customers' needs. Youare responsible forbecoming the resident trauma expert as you work with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. You live your work, feeding off the extreme demands of trauma, not counting hours but rather lives impacted. A person who is energized by chaos, you organize your materials and sortpossible solutionsquickly during operating/emergency room consultations. You takegreat pridein meticulously managing andmaintainingyour inventory of products and are prepared toassista customer whenever the need arises. Your knowledge not only of your own products, but of competitors' offerings, builds credibility with surgeons. They trust you to provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives. As a Trauma Sales Representative who does what is necessary andliveout your mission to change lives by selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

  • Serves as the primary backup contact support for territory for Sales Representatives and Associates, as requested.

  • Completes Sales Associate training program, consisting of Employee Orientation, Center Training, ProductKnowledgeand Field Territory Training.

  • Attend surgeries in which Stryker Trauma products are used, to ensure all products are available for surgeon use in each case and to instruct surgeonsregardingproduct use and functionality.

  • Work with sales teams to deliver excellent customer service and further develop and support customer relationships

  • Identifythe needs of new prospects and, in conjunction with the Sales Representative, developappropriate responses.

  • Learnfeaturesand benefits of new products withabilityto successfully useadditionalproducts as they become available.

  • Implement sales plans and marketing strategies to competitively position the organization.Following extensive product training, must be able to tailor Stryker's promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, to advise onappropriate productselection, to answer customer questions about product functionality, and to distinguish Stryker products from those of Stryker's competitors.

  • Coordinates with manager and sales team toassistinparticipatingwith on-call case coverage needs.

  • Acquirea basic understanding of the sales requirements,to includeregulatory compliance issues.

  • Consistently comply with business principles (includingAdvaMed): maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information; protect the assets of the organization; act with ethics and integrity; report non-compliance; and adhere to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures.

  • Assistin account problem resolution.

  • Maintain training in sales skills and products.

  • When necessary, market the product line to customers, based upon knowledge of functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker's Recon products from those of its competitors.

  • Maintain knowledge of the industry, customers, and competitive trends.

  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, asrequired.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degreeor 4+years' experiencein a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)

  • 1-2 yearsdemonstratedsuccess in sales or medical industry experience, Trauma/Ortho Sales environment preferred

  • Applied knowledge of current office technologies (Microsoft Office Suite, databases, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability in building andmaintainingrelationships; prefer experience developing relationships with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas

  • Travel up to 80-90%

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 salary and eligible to earn bonuses + benefits.
