Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Soap Compound Associate. As a Soap Compound Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and blending soap compounds according to established formulations and production schedules. This role will involve accurately measuring and mixing raw materials, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring the quality and consistency of soap compounds. The associate will have a strong attention to detail, good mathematical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities: 

Compound Preparation: Prepare soap compound batches by accurately measuring and weighing raw materials according to specified formulations and recipes. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Batch records to ensure consistency and quality.

Conduct quality checks on compound batches, including visual inspection, pH testing, and other quality parameters. Identify and address any deviations from specifications and report quality issues to the supervisor.

Complete production records, batch logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Record process parameters, observations, and any deviations from standard procedures.

Maintain inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished compounds. Monitor stock levels, request replenishment as needed, and keep accurate records of inventory transactions.


Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields is a plus.

Previous experience in compound preparation, batch processing, or manufacturing operations preferred.

Good mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and recipe adjustments.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist, and stoop, kneel or crouch.

Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.

May be exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Dexterity of hands and fingers.
