Job Title: Receptionist / Greeter
Location: City Hall – Hallandale Beach
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Greeter serves as the first point of contact for visitors to City Hall. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting the public, answering inquiries, and ensuring the smooth flow of visitors and calls. Punctuality is essential, as this position is responsible for opening the main doors each morning.
Key Responsibilities:
Open the main doors of City Hall promptly at 7:30 AM
Greet visitors in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls appropriately
Provide general information and assist visitors with basic inquiries
Direct visitors to the appropriate department or staff member
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Log visitors as required and follow City Hall security procedures
Assist with light administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
