Job description

Receptionist

The Receptionist is responsible for providing a warm, professional welcome to members, guests, and visitors while supporting the daily administrative needs of the Club. This position serves as a key point of contact and helps ensure smooth communication between members, staff, and management.

Essential Duties:

  • Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Respond to basic member questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Manage the front desk and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
  • Assist with member check-ins, reservations, and appointments as needed.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, copying, and scanning.
  • Maintain accurate member and visitor information.
  • Assist with Club events and other administrative projects as needed.
  • Follow Club policies and maintain confidentiality of member information.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive Club experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
