Pavilion of Bridgeview is seeking a Receptionist to join their team! The Receptionist assists the Administrator and other key personnel in managing the incoming calls and schedules. The Receptionist greets employees, residents, and guests in a timely manner and with great professionalism while maintaining security.

Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Concierge and other departments to ensure communication when there is a visitor in the facility.
  • Answers all calls coming into the facility in a professional manner and tone, transferring and routing appropriately.
  • Oversees all mail in facility, including sorting and distributing mail.
  • Efficiently contacts appropriate staff members with referrals – Plays key role with ensuring all referral related calls get to the right party in the proper amount of time.
  • Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
  • May assist Business Office Manager with accounts payable receipts.
  • Welcomes and provides link to online application to job seekers.
  • Sends emails and faxes.
  • May input admission or patient information into the computer system as required.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Receptionist Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

Receptionist Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of prior work experience handling receptionist responsibilities is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
  • Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards. Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.
