Receptionist Sales Assistant information

What is a receptionist sales assistant?

Receptionist Sales Assistants are professionals who combine administrative and customer service duties with sales support in an organization. They typically greet visitors, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle various office tasks. In addition, they assist the sales team by preparing sales documents, processing orders, and providing information to customers. Their role is essential for ensuring smooth front-desk operations while contributing to the company's sales goals.

How does a receptionist sales assistant balance front-desk duties with supporting the sales team?

A Receptionist Sales Assistant typically manages a dynamic workflow, balancing administrative tasks like greeting visitors and answering calls with responsibilities such as preparing sales documents and updating client information. Time management and organizational skills are essential, as you'll need to quickly shift between assisting walk-in clients, scheduling appointments, and supporting the sales team with leads or reports. Collaboration is frequent, as you'll coordinate closely with sales representatives and managers to ensure smooth communication and efficient customer service. This dual role offers valuable insight into both administrative operations and the sales process, providing a solid foundation for career growth within either area.

Familiarity with CRM systems, point-of-sale software, and multi-line phone systems is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask help set top performers apart in this role. These skills and qualities are essential for efficiently managing front-desk operations and supporting sales activities, ensuring a smooth customer experience and contributing to business growth.

Job description

️ Front Desk / Receptionist / Care Plan Coordinator

Clinical Massage Clinic • Millcreek, Utah

Apex Recovery Massage is a results‑driven, clinical massage clinic specializing in sports massage, injury recovery, and therapeutic bodywork for athletes and active individuals.

We are hiring a Front Desk / Receptionist / Care Plan Coordinator to support patient experience, scheduling, and care plan follow‑through. This role is a key part of the care team—not a passive front desk position.

If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a professional healthcare‑style environment, this role may be a great fit.

Role Overview

You will be the first and last point of contact for patients—supporting scheduling, communication, and consistency with therapist recommendations. You help keep the clinic running smoothly while ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and cared for.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Reception

  • Answer phones and greet patients professionally
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments
  • Maintain a calm, welcoming clinic environment
  • Handle basic administrative and front desk tasks

Care Plan Coordination

  • Support patient follow‑through on therapist care plans
  • Help patients rebook based on recommended timing and frequency
  • Communicate next steps clearly after appointments
  • Work closely with therapists to support continuity of care

Rebooking & Membership Support

  • Encourage rebooking before patients leave
  • Explain scheduling options and memberships confidently (no high‑pressure sales)
  • Assist with patient follow‑ups and outreach when needed

Clinic Support

  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk
  • Support daily clinic flow and operations

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is friendly, reliable, and people‑oriented
  • Is organized, detail‑focused, and punctual
  • Communicates clearly in person, by phone, and by text
  • Enjoys structure, systems, and checklists
  • Wants to work in a clinical or healthcare‑style environment (not retail or spa)

Helpful but not required:

  • Front desk or receptionist experience
  • Medical, dental, PT, chiropractic, or massage clinic experience
  • Scheduling, administrative, or customer service background

Pay & Earning Potential

  • Base Pay: $12–$15 per hour
  • Commission Eligible: Yes
  • Total Earning Potential: $12–$30 per hour (base + commissions)

Perks & Benefits

  • Free massages as part of your perks
  • Commission opportunities based on performance
  • Professional, calm, no‑drama work environment
  • Learn skills in healthcare administration and clinic operations
  • Growth opportunity within a fast‑growing clinical practice

Location

Millcreek, Utah

Why Apex Recovery Massage?

We focus on professionalism, consistency, and real results—for both patients and staff. You won’t be asked to upsell aggressively or cut corners. Your job is to help patients stay on track and feel supported, every step of the way.

If you’re dependable, organized, and enjoy helping people while working in a high‑quality clinic, we’d love to meet you.
