Preschool Receptionist

At La Mère Academy, we believe that a warm welcome sets the tone for a child's day. Our school is a nurturing, joyful environment where children, families, and staff feel supported and valued. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Preschool Receptionist who will be the friendly face and voice of our school.

The Preschool Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our families and children. This position manages the front desk, assists with administrative tasks, and supports teachers with classroom preparation. The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, organized, and enjoys interacting with young children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet families, children, and visitors warmly as they enter the school
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage the front desk and assist with daily administrative office tasks
  • Maintain sign-in/sign-out procedures and assist with visitor check-in
  • Provide support to teachers by preparing art materials and classroom supplies
  • Help organize and prepare materials for school events and activities
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming front office area
  • Communicate clearly and kindly with parents, staff, and visitors
  • Assist the administrative team with general office support
