Receptionist

You'll act as the first point of contact for the business, answer phone calls, schedule meetings, handle mail and deliveries, and help us with other operational duties to keep everything running smoothly. Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails and make sure the right people receive all important information including case number (if any), contact information, referral source and purpose of call
  • Arrange appointments for employees and keep the calendar up-to-date
  • Greet visitors, clients, and fellow employees when they arrive at the front desk and provide them with any necessary directions or information
  • Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Complete other administrative duties as needed such as data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with a law firm is a plus!
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills
  • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
  • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
