Position Description: Local surgical group in Tooele, Utah is seeking a Receptionist to help coordinate the reception area activities. Duties include:
- Maintain medical records according to established guidelines and requirements.
- Assemble patient medical record forms.
- Assist in obtaining pertinent information to register patient.
- Provide pertinent information to the patient's family in the waiting area.
- Answer telephone courteously and in a quiet, pleasant voice.
- Accept and relay messages effectively.
- Maintains and protect patient confidentiality.
- Assist in ordering and stocking clerical supplies.
- Collect payments from patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably at least two years of clerical experience in the medical field.
