Are you a friendly, self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail? Join the Good Shepherd team as a Receptionist and make a meaningful impact every day. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors—creating a welcoming environment while providing essential support across the organization. In addition to joining an excellent team, Good Shepherd offers a collaborative workplace and a competitive benefits to employees.

Weekend Receptionist Schedule

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM every third weekend

  • Included in the holiday rotation

Weekend Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors

  • Monitor the front lobby and manage incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner

  • Greet and direct guests, vendors, residents, families, and employees with warmth and professionalism

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to various departments as needed

  • Maintain the cash box and accurately record resident trust account transactions

Weekend Receptionist Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work as a team member and resolve problem situations constructively

  • Previous experience with multi-line phone systems, customer service and computers required

  • Typing speed of 50 WPM

  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
